Buggo: a weekly discussion group for "deep questions to create more emotional depth with friends." Had a Notion doc.
Q4O (Queers 4 Orgasms): coined after a sex tech startup talk that Maddie went to. "OMG I just want to do more stuff in sex now."
She stole "4 bobas and 6 mango lassis" at a Zareen's event. She texted the group "I'm too high to pick y'all up from the Caltrain 😭😭." She organized shrooms trips (Pinnacles, Point Reyes, Tomales Bay). She was the shroom maker.

The Sugar Daddy Intervention
On January 6, 2024, Amy was on a date with a sugar daddy in SF. Maddie sent an incredibly protective series of messages:
"If you're considering intimacy with him simply because you need a place to stay tonight, please know that I'm willing to stay awake until midnight if you can make it here."
Then Maddie shared her OWN high school sugar daddy experience. She lost $1,000 to a scam. She slept with an older man for sushi. She deeply regretted it.
"I would gladly pay $1,000 to erase those memories."

This is one of the most emotionally significant exchanges in Amy's entire message history. Maddie shared deeply personal trauma, not for sympathy, but to protect Amy from making the same mistake.
Living Together
August 16, 2024: Maddie commented on Amy's Instagram post: "I LOVE YOU ... can't wait to move in today with you." Roommate move-in confirmed. They lived together before Amy moved to the Fillmore Center.
Weekly Ritual
Amy and Maddie have a standing Thursday movie night at 7pm at Nalin's house. Amy brings pizza and dumplings. This is the most consistent social ritual in Amy's documented life. It appears in her calendar repeatedly, undramatically, the way real friendships do.
Brazil
Maddie and Amy traveled to Brazil together around March 2025. Amy's Rio post, the most emotionally significant post on her Instagram, ends with "i love maddie <3." This was the trip where Amy wrote about feeling proud of who she'd become and deciding to let go.
2026
They track each other on Find My. They discuss poop colors from curry. Maddie went to Minnesota (home state) in January 2026. She hosted hot pot with an "Asian girls" group. She asked to use Amy's phone number for a male Hinge persona for a party. She brought frozen dumplings for Amy. Amy offered her bed when Nalin wasn't staying: "My bfs not gonna be there so u can sleep in my bed!"
Maddie shared thoughts about MDMA: "MDMA was medicine for me. It helped me work through an insecurity of mine for good. For health reasons don't take it more than once every 3 months."
Maddie was on a date with a guy in early 2026. Amy said "u are SO HOT" looking at her photos. The date went well: "YESSSSSSSSS!!! Best outcome." Maddie may be dating men now, though she was with Lainey throughout 2022-2024.
Australia
Maddie is going on the Australia trip in May 2026, alongside Amy and Nalin. She recently went spearfishing in Puerto Rico, which may have inspired the group booking Bluewater Spearfishing Charters in Cairns. The Australia trip is not just a couples' vacation; Maddie's presence makes it a friend trip.
