Significance
Cute Ghostty occupies a unique position in Amy's project history. It is the only thing she has built that she describes as purely fun.
From the March 8 diary entry: "Cute Ghostty was different though. When I made that, it was fun. Pure expression. No one to impress. Just for me."
This observation recurs as a question Amy keeps returning to: why did making Cute Ghostty feel good when Taya didn't? The difference appears to be the absence of external validation as a motivator. Cute Ghostty had no pitch, no metrics, no preorders. It existed because Amy wanted it to exist.
